Use of our site

The use of this micro-site is subject to Virgin Money's main website terms and conditions. In the event of conflict between the main website terms and conditions and these terms, these terms will take precedence. Please note that our site is designed to be accessed through its principal home page and such pages as we may decide. If you access our site through individual pages directly which are not designed for this purpose, you may not see important information which is relevant to the information on our site.

You may access our site without registering your details but to participate in the Make £5 Grow Programme you will be required to register. Please refer to the registration sign up page on the main site for further detail on how to do this.

Our privacy policy sets out the terms on which we process any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us. By using our site, you consent to such processing and you agree that you will supply complete and accurate information when using our site.

Registration and accounts

Only schools or persons with a responsibility for educating children who do not attend a school (a "home educator") in the United Kingdom may register for the Make £5 Grow Programme. You will have to provide details such as:

  • the school;
  • your name;
  • position;
  • school bank account details if a loan is required;
  • in the case of a home educator, your own address and contact details; and
  • any other information we request in our registration form.

You must not share the URL you are provided with by Virgin Money.

We have the right to disable your Make £5 Grow account if we have reason to believe that you have used them inappropriately.

You must ensure that your registered details are accurate and also inform us of any changes to your details by updating your personal details.

Will we changes these terms and conditions?

We may change the terms from time to time for any of the following reasons:

  • to make any changes required by law, regulation, industry codes of practice or decision of a court, regulator or ombudsman;
  • where the changes are helpful to you (including making these terms clearer or correcting any mistakes);
  • where the changes reasonably reflect changes to our costs; or
  • where we are making changes to the technology we use to provide our Site.

The revised terms or changes will apply from the date that we publish them on our Site.

If any provision of these terms and conditions or their application in a particular circumstance is held to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the remainder of these terms and conditions, or the application of such provision in other circumstances, shall not be affected thereby, and shall be valid and enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Virgin Money does not control these third party sites and does not accept any responsibility for the content, availability or operation of such sites. Virgin Money has not verified the truth or accuracy of such sites.

You and any third parties are not permitted to link any other website to our site without Virgin Money's prior written consent that we may provide at our own discretion. You are also not permitted to hot link any content or images without our prior written consent.

Virgin Money may from time to time operate channels, pages and accounts on some social media sites to inform and engage customers and other users about the Make £5 Grow Programme.

We and our third party licensors where applicable, own and control all the copyright and other intellectual property rights in our site. All such rights are reserved. This includes and is not limited to our site, content and any materials downloaded.
